Keep the originals and send a smaller version of it/them, about 1MB, for it will be easier to handle.

what would the jury expect exif to include?

One of the requirements (b): shooting date.

seems unclear. you do allow film shooters the margin of uncertainty as to the date, but not the digital shooters? is "shooting date" the only required exif info?

Perhaps you can enlighten us, showing us the right way to date a film submission. If you can show us the possible way we will accept at once.

nover did i claim to have such a solution at hand. i simply want to know which information you consider necessary in the exif. date is enough?
keeping aside that it is quite easy to freely 'adjust' exif, including the date...

Yes, but we are counting on fairness on behalf of the contestants.
We always do, remember that at all time one deviant can use relatives or friends for some shots... It's all in the fairness. Not towards the others, but towards oneself.
Yes, date is the important part.

Once we have sent the images to the email, on the journal can we post them in our deviant gallery ?

Good question, Jack.
The work must remain anonymous until the end of the voting process.
So, when the most voted ones are announced, we'll warn everyone to start submitting to your galleries.

OK, then maybe you should update the contest rules, on the need for anonymity, I tend to always put my name at the bottom corner of my image. I am sure many do the same. If that is a problem then we should call it out. Thanks for the prompt reply :)
