Misty morning by the Dom Luis I Bridge by NunoCanha Misty morning by the Dom Luis I Bridge by NunoCanha
Today I found the talented and kind :iconpariah87:
Better yet, she found me, her "facial recognition software" is state-of-the-art.
Human, bright and sharp, as her work. Go check it out.

Misty morning.
Points of interest:
Cais da Ribeira, Porto, Portugal.
Bridge: Dom Luís I. The Luís I Bridge is a metal arch bridge that spans the Douro River between the cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia in Portugal. At the time of construction its span of 172 m was the longest of its type in the World. The total length is 385m and the arch measures 172m in length and 44.6m in height.
Boat: Rabelo. The Rabelo boat is a traditional Portuguese cargo boat, that for centuries carried out the task of transporting people and goods along the Douro river. Native from the Douro region, it might have its origins on the V Century when the suebi lived in Douro region. In the XVII century, Rabelo’s boat grew bigger. it does not exist in any other place of the World and its history is closely linked to the production and trade of the Port Wine.

Sem rgb (red green and blues) para distrair, o frio da arquitectura e o humanismo da névoa convivem optimamente.
Muito agradecido.

The one you are referring to is another one: Ponte de D. Maria Pia, nearby.
Just a trivia: both of them were designed by Eng.º Théophile Seyrig, but the latter was build by the "Eiffel Constructions Métalliques" company.

photography wise - i don't think place matters all that much.. but i'd like to visit portugal for the sights - to see that is, not necessarily to photograph.. and for the language! i love portuguese!
